Terms of Use on The Site

Section 1 - Introduction

If you place an order with Wild Puffin Designs through any other platform then you are bound by the Terms & Conditions of that site.

By placing an order with WPDesigns on this site ‘www.wpdesigns.co.uk’, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions below.

“WPDesigns” is also known as “W0rdPressDesigns”, “Wild Puffin Designs”, and “wpdesigns.co.uk”.

Section 2 - Refunds

Wild Puffin Designs will carry out work only where an agreement is provided online or by email with the following refund policy:

Full refund: In cases where the project has not been started, or we are unable to meet the initially agreed requirements within the stated timescale, we will provide a full refund.
Partial refund: If you feel the work produced does not meet your initial brief a partial refund may be given. This will be the amount paid less the base cost of the time spent on the work.
No refunds: If the website has been approved and completed no refund is payable.

Section 3 - Time Line

Our estimated time required to complete your website is stated in the Gig as it depends on various factors. We will commence the work after we have received a signed contract, a signed Statement of Work, and Fiverr has confirmed the Gig payment. Please also keep in mind that we rely on you and your team to provide us with the necessary assets (including but not limited to website text, photos, social media, products, pricing, etc), granting approvals for us to work on your website to avoid impacting your website launch date. Failure to do so may result in a delay.

Section 4 - Error Review

We check the website after the transfer, but we also provide you with a 7-day window from the date of website migration to your hosting for error review.

This does not include new website revisions but errors that may have occurred during migration. As the client, it is your responsibility to ensure your website is error-free during this time and point out any mistakes to be corrected. Any error you find after the 7 days will be charged by our hourly rate through an existing Gig or new Fiverr Custom Order.

Section 5 - Migration of Website

From the time the website is completed and ready for launch, you have a maximum of 30 days to provide us with your hosting and domain information. If that information is not provided, there is a possibility that the website will be removed from our server without notice. Extensions can be provided upon written request. We aim to accommodate and remain flexible.

Section 6 - Hosting

We offer various hosting packages which can cater to all needs, our hosting packages are available to you, but you are welcome to choose another hosting service if you wish to do so. Our offers of hosting are not linked to our services of web design on the Fiverr platform. As the client, you’re responsible for managing and maintaining your hosting, domain name, and site. All hosting/domain services must be paid to the hosting company of your choice for the website to remain live.

Section 7 - Browser Functionality

All of our websites are tested for functionality on current Chrome, Brave, and Firefox internet browsers.

We do not guarantee that your website will look the same on every screen as it will likely look different due to varying screen resolutions and aspect ratios.

Section 8 - Statement of Work & Contract

Each project will have a breakdown that is outlined in the Statement of Work document. This includes the project objectives and tasks. We are only responsible for the items outlined in the Statement of Work. Items not included in the Statement of Work are not part of the project, nor have they been included in the quoted cost and are subject to an extra fee or Gig Extra.

The Web Design Contract is applicable to each web design project and must be signed along with the Statement of Work before starting.

Section 9 - Use of Site

We reserve the right to include screenshots of, and link to your completed website on any page of our website, review websites, and on any of our social media accounts.

Section 10 - Additions

Please review the Statement of Work and any additional feature requests, changes in tasks, changes in deliverables, or any scope modifications beyond what was agreed and signed off may be subject to an extra charge.

Section 11 - Revisions

The number of revisions for each web design project varies and will be noted in your offer and Statement of Work. Should you request additional revisions beyond what is included, you will receive a message or email notification from us requesting a confirmation that you wish to proceed with said revisions and agree that you will be billed through the Extra revisions.

Section 12 - Allowances

You’re responsible for the cost of any outside paid assets. This includes, but is not limited to hosting, domains, SSL certificates, third-party Plugins, Themes, stock images, and premium fonts unless previously agreed. In addition, we cannot be held liable for the functionality of third-party plugins, themes, or software, recommended or otherwise.

Section 13 - Domains

All domain names that we help to register will be registered in the clients name and as such the domain name belongs to the client, not to Wild Puffin Designs. The domain will be registered for 1 year. If the customer does not renew the domain, the domain will expire and will be available for general sale. We take no responsibility for what happens to the site after its expiration.

Section 14 - Exclusive Design Credit

We are proud of our work and reserve the right to neatly apply the text “Created by WPDesigns” or “Web Design by WPDesigns” in the footer. Should you wish to remove the credit, a fee applies. Removal of our name does not mean surrendering our design credit to any other party. Without our expressed consent, you agree that our design credit will be visibly displayed on your site, acknowledging our part in the website design and build.

This will be removed without a fee if you have purchased a white-label service.

Section 15 - Payments

Like a parking ticket, this agreement is non-transferable and non-refundable. The payment through Fiverr does not constitute a credit, and therefore cannot be used toward our other services. We do not accept payments for the work carried out on Fiverr through any other merchant or payment platform, nor so with future projects.

Section 16 - Liability

WPDesigns will do everything possible to build you a fantastic website that exceeds expectations. Still, we accept no liability for your sales, revenue, and/or the success of your website/business directly, indirectly, or consequentially. This also includes search ranking position and site traffic.

Section 17 - Data Breach

Any breach or loss any of data from the clients website, servers, or tables due to poor password choice or fault in plugins, design or theme do not rest with Wild Puffin Designs. Wild Puffin Designs will take all necessary precautions to avert a problem from arising but cannot be held responsible. Clients take this on at their own risk when entering into the agreement for work to commence. If there is a data breach discovered by WPDesigns all parties involved will be informed and other customers will be advised to change their passwords along with any other precautions deemed necessary.

Section 18 - Licence for our WordPress Themes

Our WPDesigns custom theme is created as a child theme of Astra or Hello Elementor.

All our WordPress plugins, themes, and source code available for download on this website are licensed under the GNU General Public License (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html) version 2.0 or later.

Section 19 - Changes to The Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time.
