How to Duplicate Popups in Elementor

In this WPDesigns article, we will discuss How to Duplicate Popups in Elementor. After reading this article, you will be able to easily duplicate your premade popup with all of its settings. Basically, the goal is to save time by not having to generate another popup with the same options. There is no duplicate feature as you can use with other posts and pages, but this way allows you to easily duplicate a popup using the template saving technique.

Then choose the popup you want to duplicate from the popup lists, mouse over on it, and click on Export Template. After clicking on export template, it will automatically download a json file for you.

After that, you have to upload the json file. To do so, go to the popup tab and choose Import Template. At the top of the page, you can see that. The upload option will appear when you click on that. Choose the file from your file manager, or drag & drop the exported file.

Follow time and date to find new one

Quick edit to change the URL as needed after the import. As it is not linked any where and it is a popup there is not need for redirects or anything. If this was a published post or a page you would likely need to adjust and ensure a redirect is added.

Select The Template

The popup template will now display in front of you, as you can see. Because we imported the same item, so you can see there are two popups with the same name. So all you have to do now is pick the one that was recently uploaded. By checking at the date column, you’ll notice this. After that, click on quick edit and modify the name and url. So you just used the export technique to duplicate a popup in Elementor. You can quickly clone any popup with its proper settings using this technique.
